Donald Chisholm:
Don has served churches as a preacher and youth minister in California, New Mexico and Texas. He currently lives in Allen, Texas with his wife of 30 years. He has two grown children. Katherine (Katie) lives in Allen and works for the Fossil company in Richardson, Texas. Jonathan lives in Allen and works part-time as an actor. Don is now retired from full-time ministry due to his health. He was diagnosed in 2005 with Multiple Sclerosis (a chronic neurological disease). He continued working until 2012 when the M.S. progressed to the point that didn't allow him the energy to work full-time.
Freedom Files:
Not being able to work, yet still having a love of Christ, the Scriptures, and the body of Christ, I decided to begin a blog to encourage followers of Christ to seek the freedom that comes from being in Christ (Galatians 5:1). The emphasis of this blog will be to draw people toward the unity that Jesus prayed for in John 17. Jesus wants his Body to be united. There is too much division and fighting in the Body of Christ over opinions, preferences and interpretations. This only hurts the Body. We are told that the world will know that we are His disciples by the love that we have for one another.
Please join me in seeking unity through freedom in Christ.
